New Delhi: Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriend Conor Kennedy, 32, has been placed on Russia’s most-wanted list. According to a report by People, Conor Kennedy, who
is the son of US Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr, has landed on Russia’s international wanted list.
The action comes over his decision to fight alongside Ukrainian forces following Russia’s 2022 invasion.

A Moscow court authorised Conor Kennedy’s arrest in absentia on August 12 and accused him of participating in the war as a mercenary. If Kennedy is convicted, he might be sentenced to seven to ten years in prison.
In 2022, he secretly travelled to Ukraine and joined the International Legion despite having no military experience. He kept his decision from everyone, including his father and stepmother, actress Cheryl Hines.
“Like many people, I was deeply moved by what I saw happening in Ukraine. I wanted to help,” Kennedy wrote after returning home from Ukraine.
He added, “I liked being a soldier, more than I had expected. It is scary. But life is simple, and the rewards for finding courage and doing good are substantial.”
At that time, he said that only one person in Ukraine know his real identity and just one person back home knew where he was gone as he didn’t wanted his family to worry or his surname affecting how he is treated.
Robert F Kennedy Jr, father of Conor, said that his son essentially “talked his way” into a Ukrainian military unit despite his lack of combat experience. He spent roughly two and a half months in the country before returning to the US and resuming his law studies at Georgetown University.
