The film revolves around Jass (Varun Dhawan), who thinks that he is getting a fresh start as his marriage with Bani (Mrunal Thakur) is ending. He then moves to England and falls in love with Preet (Pooja Hegde). The plot twist is that both women are now pregnant.
He desperately tries to stop his both worlds from colliding, triggering a comedy of lies, misunderstandings, bad decisions, and close calls. With his every attempt, the situation keeps getting worse.

The makers were embroiled in a controversy over the use of songs ‘Chunnari Chunnari’ and ‘Ishq Sona Hai’ from Salman Khan’s Biwi No 1 (1999), which was directed by David Dhawan.
Vashu Bhagnani of Pooja Entertainment had filed a Rs 400 crore lawsuit against David Dhawan, Ramesh Taurani, and Kumar S Taurani in the Bombay High Court over the unauthorised use of the songs.
