New Delhi: Marvel fans in India are preparing to revisit one of the MCU’s biggest cinematic events, and early ticket sales suggest strong interest in its
return. Avengers Endgame: Encore has sold more than 8,000 tickets within 24 hours across limited screens ahead of its September 25 release.
The re-release is being positioned as the beginning of Marvel Studios’ latest theatrical push in India, with the studio aiming for a new milestone. If the momentum continues, Avengers Endgame: Encore could record the biggest opening for a Hollywood re-release in the country.

Avengers Endgame: Encore advance bookings open across premium formats
Bookings have opened 14 days ahead of the re-release, with the film available in IMAX, Marvel Studios’ Infinity Vision and other premium formats, including 4DX, MX4D, SCREENX, Dolby Vision, HDR Barco and ICE.
The early sales from these formats indicate that audiences are willing to return to theatres for another big-screen experience of the MCU saga. The re-release also arrives ahead of Avengers: Doomsday, giving fans another opportunity to revisit the events that shaped the franchise before the next major chapter.
For those opting for Infinity Vision, the certified screens promise an enhanced theatrical presentation with larger screens, brighter visuals and immersive sound. The film will also be available in IMAX and other premium large-format screens. Watch the English trailer here:
Avengers Endgame: Encore release date and story
Avengers Endgame: Encore will release in India on September 25 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
The film picks up after Thanos’ devastating actions leave half of the world’s population erased. With the remaining heroes struggling to cope with the loss, the Avengers must reunite for one final attempt to restore the universe and bring their loved ones back.
The battle ultimately brings the surviving heroes face-to-face with Thanos in a showdown that determines the fate of the universe.
Kevin Feige produced the film, while Anthony Russo and Joe Russo directed it. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo, Trinh Tran, Jon Favreau, James Gunn and Stan Lee are credited as executive producers.
