New Delhi: Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna‘s rom-com, Cocktail 2, which is a spiritual sequel to the 2012 cult film Cocktail, is now
set for its OTT debut.
The film opened to mixed reviews, but had a decent run at the box office. So, if you missed the movie in theatres or want to re-watch it, then here’s everything you need to know.
Cocktail 2 OTT release details
Homi Adajania’s directorial will be released on Netflix, as unveiled in the theatrical version’s opening credits. The film is scheduled to release on August 14, 2026. However, an official confirmation is still awaited.
Cocktail 2 plot
Cocktail 2 follows the story of Kunal (Shahid Kapoor) and Diya (Rashmika Mandanna), a longtime couple, who jet off to Sicily to avoid wedding season and nosy relatives. On vacation, they bump into Ally (Kriti Sanon), Diya’s friend, who helps lovebirds let loose a little.
A twist comes when Diya, who constantly questions Kunal’s love, asks Ally to seduce him to test his loyalty. However, it quickly brews into a love triangle.

Cocktail 2 Box Office collection
Cocktail 2 grossed approximately Rs 143.51 crore worldwide and Rs 92.02 crore net in India. The film earned Rs 109.55 crore gross in India and Rs 33.96 crore overseas. The film minted Rs 46.76 crore during its opening weekend and earned Rs 67.81 crore in its first week. The rom-com collected Rs 18.41 crore in its second week, Rs 4,79 crore in its third week, and Rs 0,79 crore in its fourth week.
