From the moment you enter and five minutes into your dining experience, the chef with the meal and menu will teleport you to another South Indian version of food, reimagined flavours, textures, and aroma of spice fill up the room, from the first course served, Tomato and millet rice crisp, a perfect Indian flavour with a blend of modern look and texture.

You can choose the kind of experience you want with their set-course menus with 7, 9, 11, 13 or more courses, making each bite a salute to the South Indian flavours reimagined perfectly.

From the first amuse-bouche to the final flourish, the experience is immersive, theatrical, and deeply rooted in southern culinary excellence.

Would you ever expect yourself to eat neer dosa with drumstick lamb? Well, Avartana is doing so fine that the flavours come perfectly together with one another, blending to give you a delicious bite. In all the five menus of various courses – Maya, 7 course, Bela, 9 course, Tara, 13 course, Anika, 13 course and Jiaa, 11 course, you will be delighted to end with a bite of fennel panacotta – a delicious dessert prepared in a form of egg with angel hair caramel depiciting the nest and upon breaking a slimy, creamy texture pouring out like egg yolk, tastes heavenly and leaves you craving to come back for more another time.

For one dish that you cannot leave without trying is Asparagus and coconut stew, the sweetness of coconut binds together with idiyappam served at the base, and each bite with Asparagus tastes divine.

Avartana first opened in Chennai in 2017 at ITC Grand Chola and quickly became one of ITC’s most popular culinary concepts. Its success led to new outlets in Mumbai, Kolkata and Colombo, each keeping the same style. The Delhi branch opened in October 2024 and has been attracting large crowds ever since.
