New Delhi: Grand Theft Auto 6 is back in the news for the wrong reason. Fresh gameplay clips, along with an image claimed to show the full map, have started
spreading online just eight days before Rockstar’s next official GTA 6 presentation.
Rockstar Games has not confirmed whether the material is real. Still, several uploads have reportedly been removed following copyright claims from Take-Two Interactive. That does not prove the footage is genuine, but it has certainly made players take the leak more seriously.

What does the leaked GTA 6 footage show?
The clips appear to show Jason, one of GTA 6’s main characters, doing things we have not seen in official trailers so far.
One video reportedly shows him playing basketball outside his home. Another shows him driving around before attacking an NPC.
Other clips are said to reveal a six-star wanted level, side activities, different loadout options, car refuelling and the in-game phone system. There is apparently a look at stamina mechanics too, along with a location that has not appeared in Rockstar’s official material.
If you have followed GTA leaks before, there is one thing worth keeping in mind. We have no idea how old this build is.
Games change a lot during development. A mechanic seen in leaked footage today could work differently in November, or it may disappear completely.
Full GTA 6 map image reportedly appears online
An image said to show the complete GTA 6 map has surfaced alongside the gameplay videos.
That will probably attract just as much attention as the footage itself. GTA fans have spent years trying to piece together the game’s version of Vice City and its surrounding areas using trailers, screenshots and previous leaks.
As of now, the latest map image remains unverified.

Who is CyberLeek?
Reports link the material to a group calling itself CyberLeek.
A website associated with the name reportedly criticises game publishers over digital-only releases and the removal of content that consumers have already paid for.
The group posted a warning that reads: “Publishers should beware. If CyberLeek can reach Rockstar, no one is safe. This is a message to all big corpo: behave, or be the next target.”
The leaked material reportedly promotes a cryptocurrency as well. Some users have questioned whether the coin could be connected to a scam, so there is plenty of reason to be cautious around links being shared with the footage.
GTA 6 Netflix reveal is coming on August 27
The leak arrives shortly before the planned release of Grand Theft Auto 6: An Extended Look on Netflix on August 27.
The presentation is expected to remain exclusive to Netflix for six hours before appearing on other platforms such as YouTube.
GTA 6 is currently scheduled to release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S on November 19, 2026.
This is far from the first major leak surrounding the game. More than 90 early GTA 6 videos and images appeared online in 2022. The first official trailer then leaked shortly before its planned release in December 2023.
Rockstar has not commented on the latest footage yet, so the safest approach is to treat every leaked feature, map detail and gameplay mechanic as unconfirmed until the studio shows it officially.
