Drishyam 3 box office prediction
In an exclusive conversation with News9 Digital, trade analyst Ramesh Bala also opined on Drishyam 3 collections. He told us that the film will earn Rs 10 crore from South itself. He shared, “The buzz is quite strong in the South, especially in Kerala and Bengaluru. Kerala has a huge audience base, and Bengaluru also has a large Malayali population. The advance booking trends in both regions are looking promising. As far as the opening is concerned, I think the film can collect around Rs 10 crore down South. For a Mohanlal film, that’s a good opening.”
He also opened up about the film and said, “People are coming to watch the film because of the franchise value and the thriller element associated with it. However, this time, the film leans more towards emotions than thrills, which is probably why some viewers feel it may not be the best idea. I understand that a film like this is generally expected to have stronger thriller elements. But let’s wait and watch. It’s very difficult to predict what the audience will feel just three days before the release.”
Drishyam 3 advance booking
According to industry tracker, Jerin Georgekutty, Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 has already crossed Rs 14 crore in worldwide advance booking sales in India for its opening day. While Kerala is leading with good collection, Telugu states and Karnataka follow behind. Well, Drishyam 3 has already crossed Rs 10 crore-mark at the box office through its advance booking sales.
About Drishyam 3
Drishyam franchise was remade in Hindi starring Ajay Devgn. However, for the third installment, the makers will not directly adapt the Malayalam version. The Hindi version, in fact, will adopt a different screenplay and narrative, though both movies pick up from where the previous installment ended.
