New Delhi: Actor Prabhas’s upcoming film Spirit, directed bySandeep Reddy Vanga, may not arrive in theatres on its previously announced release date of
March 5, 2027. However, the makers have not officially confirmed any postponement, and March 5, 2027, remains the previously scheduled date.
Spirit brings together Prabhas and filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for directing Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh and Animal. The upcoming action drama is among the actor’s highly anticipated projects.
Why could Prabhas’ Spirit release date change?
According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter India, the makers are considering a change in the release schedule, as Anupam Kher’s Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 is releasing on the same date. Both films are backed by T-Series, raising the possibility that the production house could move Spirit to a later release window to avoid a box office clash.
For now, the reported delay remains unconfirmed. Neither a revised release date nor a new release window for the Prabhas-starrer has been officially announced.
According to a Variety India report, the postponement comes as Prabhas’ other upcoming film, Fauzi, is also undergoing a release date change.
