New Delhi: Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi has finally broken her silence on the trouble in her marriage with rapper Badshah.
In a strongly worded Instagram
post, she said that she remained quiet for years out of “fear of the power and influence” she believed her husband had.

Taking to Instagram on Monday (July 27) evening, Isha Rikhi said, “There are battles that leave no visible scars. For a long time, I remained silent because I was afraid. I felt overwhelmed by the influence, power, and resources I believed my husband had, and I convinced myself that staying quiet was the safest thing to do.”
“Silence was never acceptance. It was survival. Today, I’m choosing courage over fear. I may not be ready to tell the whole story, but I’m finally ready to stop pretending that everything was okay,” she added.

Badshah and Isha Rikhi wedding
Badshah and Isha Rikhi tied the knot in March this year. The wedding became public after Isha’s mother, Poonam Rikhi, shared a series of pictures on Instagram from the intimate wedding.

According to reports, Badshah and Isha Rikhi met at a mutual friend’s party and gradually became close. Eventually, their friendship blossomed into love, and they married each other nearly six years after Badshah’s divorce from his first wife.
Previously, the rapper was married to Jasmine Maqsih. The duo got married in 2012 and separated after eight years of marriage. They finalised their divorce in 2020. They co-parent their daughter, Jessemy Grace Masih Singh.
