In Mumbai, real estate purchases are rarely just about square footage. They are about timing, confidence and often, quiet ambition. That is exactly what stands out in the latest property move by Ritika
Sajdeh, the wife of Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma. Away from celebratory posts and flashing headlines, Ritika Sajdeh has bought a luxurious apartment in Prabhadevi for Rs 26.30 crore. While Rohit Sharma continues to dominate records and scorecards, Ritika manages contracts, negotiations and brand strategy.
Details of the Prabhadevi property deal
The apartment is located in Ahuja Towers, a sought-after residential address in Mumbai’s Prabhadevi neighbourhood. According to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards, the apartment has a carpet area of 2,760.40 square feet and comes with three dedicated car parking spaces.
According to The Financial Express, NDTV, and GQ, the total transaction value stands at Rs 26.30 crore. The deal attracted a stamp duty of Rs 1.31 crore along with registration charges of Rs 30,000. The transaction was officially registered on December 12, 2025. The sellers named in the documents are Ajinkya DY Patil and Puja Ajinkya Patil. Ritika Sajdeh and the sellers could not be reached for comment at the time of reporting.
Who is Ritika Sajdeh beyond the cricket stands
While Ritika Sajdeh is often seen clapping through nail-biting finishes, cheering her husband from the stands, and sharing candid moments with family. But behind that familiar image is a sharp professional mind that has been shaping careers for over a decade.
Sajdeh began her career as a sports manager with Cornerstone Sport and Entertainment, founded by her cousin Bunty Sajdeh. The agency is widely credited with transforming how Indian athletes approach endorsements and long-term brand value. During her time there, Sajdeh handled endorsements and brand associations for several top athletes, including helping Virat Kohli secure multiple high-value brand deals. According to DNA, Cornerstone played a key role in Kohli’s endorsement journey with brands such as Tissot, Audi, Pepsi and Adidas, deals that redefined athlete branding in India.
From sports to cinema and the Dharma connection
Cornerstone expanded its footprint beyond sports in 2020. The company partnered with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions to launch the Dharma Cornerstone Agency, a move that brought athletes and film stars under one professional umbrella.
Today, the agency manages several big names from the entertainment industry, including Vijay Deverakonda, Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and Ananya Panday. This crossover between cinema and sports marked a shift in talent management, and Ritika was part of the core team during this expansion phase.
Net worth and financial standing
Ritika Sajdeh has also been overseeing Rohit Sharma’s brand deals and contracts since their marriage, according to Sportskeeda. Industry estimates and publicly available data suggest her personal net worth stands at around Rs 10 crore. According to The Financial Express, NDTV, and GQ, her earnings stem from management commissions, strategic advisory roles and long-term associations rather than one-off projects.
A personal story rooted in cricket
Rohit Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh first met during an advertisement shoot where Sajdeh was managing Sharma’s professional commitments. What began as a strictly professional relationship slowly evolved into friendship and then love. Rohit Sharma proposed to Sajdeh at the Borivali Sports Club, the very ground where his cricketing journey began. The symbolism was unmistakable. The couple married in 2015 in a grand ceremony attended by leading names from cricket and Bollywood. Three years later, they welcomed their daughter Samaira, who has since become a familiar presence during matches and celebrations.
The Worli home and a growing real estate footprint
The couple currently lives in a sea-facing four-bedroom apartment on the 29th floor of Ahuja Towers in Worli. According to an Economic Times report, Rohit Sharma spent around Rs 30 crore on the 6,000-square-foot apartment. According to The Financial Express, NDTV, and GQ, owning multiple high-value properties across Mumbai reflects long-term planning rather than impulsive buying. In a city where real estate is both emotional and strategic, Sajdeh’s Prabhadevi purchase fits neatly into that philosophy.
