Koh Kood’s west coast is home to several beaches that are magnificent in the truest sense of the term. You can rent a motorcycle and explore all these beaches in a single day. Amongst them, Ao Tapao is the most popular beach that has white sands and pristine blue waters, along with coconut groves.
Khlong Chao is the busiest beach where you can find several luxurious hotels, cafes, and restaurants. In the southwest region lies the Ao Takhian Beach, which is ideal for swimming. Chase the Waterfalls

Besides, you can also visit the Khlong Yai Kee Waterfall, which is located in the northwest region of the island. It is recommended to visit Khlong Yai Kee during the monsoon. There are two major fishing villages in Koh Kood – one is Ao Yai, while the other is Ao Salad. Needless to say, most of the families living in these villages are directly involved in the fishing industry. Built on stilts, Ao Yai is a scenic village spreading over a vast area of 500 meters. The village is home to several eateries that serve a variety of delicious seafood dishes at affordable prices.
On the other hand, Ao Salad seems extremely colorful with lots of traditional wooden houses. Also, there is a giant Buddha statue which you simply can’t afford to miss.
