According to the bank, the card carries a zero foreign exchange markup on international transactions. It offers reward points on travel and regular spending, with higher earn rates on hotel and flight bookings made through the bank’s platform.
Cardholders can also access airport lounges in India and overseas, along with benefits such as complimentary golf sessions, selected hotel stay offers, and entertainment-related discounts.
The Diamond Reserve Credit Card includes travel-related covers such as baggage loss, flight delays, trip cancellation, and accident insurance, as well as personal accident and air accident cover.
Additional features include lifetime validity of reward points, no cap on reward point accumulation, and redemption flexibility across online purchases.
The card is priced at ₹3,000 plus GST annually, with a waiver of the annual fee from the second year for customers meeting a specified annual spending threshold. The bank said the card is available through digital channels for eligible customers.
Shirish Bhandari, Head – Credit Cards, FASTag & Loyalty at IDFC FIRST Bank, said the product is aimed at customers with frequent international travel needs, combining zero forex charges with travel-linked rewards and benefits.
The launch comes amid growing competition in the premium credit card segment, as banks seek to attract higher-spending customers with travel-focused propositions and bundled lifestyle benefits.
