What is the story about?
Google on Thursday (August 8) introduced Flight Deals, a new AI-powered search feature within Google Flights aimed at helping travellers find the cheapest fares without manually adjusting dates, destinations, or filters.
According to a company blog post, Flight Deals lets users describe their ideal trip in natural language — for example, "week-long trip this winter to a city with great food, nonstop only" or "10-day ski trip to a world-class resort with fresh powder" — and instantly returns matching bargains.
The tool uses Google's AI to interpret the request and combines it with real-time Google Flights data from hundreds of airlines and booking sites.

The service is launching in beta in the US, Canada, and India over the next week, with no opt-in required.
Google said the original Google Flights will remain available, with a new feature coming soon to exclude basic economy fares on US and Canada trips.
