What is the story about?
For both locals and those visiting the city, the Bandra-Worli Sea Link has right since its inauguration, always been a sight to behold. Last night however,
the wonder of its engineering doubled on itself as the Sea Link lit up in honour of Anant Ambani. The Reliance scion and Vantara founder is all set to turn 31 on April 10 and will be ringing in the same in Jamnagar, surrounded by his high profile well wishers. His hometown of Mumbai however, has clearly gotten a head start on the celebration.
Bandra-Worli Sea Link lights up for Anant Ambani
Visible from near and far, the Bandra-Worli Sea Link lit up, corner to corner, as a larger-than-life tribute to Ambani. It's cords shimmered in ombre hues, also featuring a smiling image of Ambani projected on to it. Along side he birthday message, as grand in font, read: 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMBANI JI'.The tribute was the work of the I Love Mumbai Foundation, led by Rahul Narain. Not just this, the I Love Mumbai Foundation, in collaboration with the Anant Yuva Pratisthan and the Anant Seva Foundation, organised a 'week of honour' with community service and the essence of 'giving back' at its core. This involved carrying charity drives out across Mumbai spanning ration distribution in Bandra wheel distribution in Khar Danda and meal services for children in Santacruz.
