Singapore has always been a dream destination for Indians looking to work, study, or raise a family. With its world-class infrastructure, thriving job
market, and safe, multicultural environment, many are choosing to settle here long term. The easiest way to make Singapore your second home is by applying for Permanent Residency (PR)—and the process is simpler (and cheaper) than you might think.
Why PR In Singapore Is Worth It
Becoming a Singapore PR unlocks a host of benefits:- You can live, work, and travel in and out of Singapore without reapplying for visas.
- Spouses and unmarried children under 21 can be included in your application, with kids given priority in public school admissions.
- Parents can be sponsored for long-term visit passes.
- PRs gain access to the Central Provident Fund (CPF), a pension scheme covering retirement, housing, and healthcare.
- You can apply for housing loans and even buy resale HDB flats.
- Flexibility to switch jobs without needing a new work permit.
- Eligibility to apply for citizenship after a few years.
- Access to both public and private healthcare.
