For a motorcycle road trip, it’s more about enjoying the journey and the freedom to stop wherever you want. So start your engine, pack your gear, and hit the road! Below are some scenic routes for your next bike road trip adventure across India:
Manali to Leh
This is one of the routes that every motorcycle enthusiast should take at least once. The Rohtang La and Khardung La passes are the best highlights on this route, as you will see peaks of the Himalayas covered with snow. The most challenging part is the dirt road on the route, which stretches about 150 km and can be difficult to navigate even for pro bikers. This journey can take about two days to complete, and you can make stops in between at Jispa or Keylong. The distance from Manali to Leh is about 420 kilometres.

Mumbai to Goa
If you are someone who loves road trips, you should gear up and go on this route on your motorcycle with your friends. Without doubt, you will have one of the best adventures of your life. The most suggested route for a Mumbai to Goa bike trip is via NH 66. You can also make pit stops during your journey and enjoy tasty food before resuming your ride again. This route takes about 14 hours by bike, considering there is no traffic on the road and you make no stops.

Kochi to Munnar
Want a change of scenery and to witness something other than snow-covered mountains? Head south to Kerala. During the route from Kochi to Munnar, you will witness lush green tea estates and misty hills. The route is about 130 kilometres and takes about 4–5 hours to complete, depending on traffic and road conditions. The most popular route is via NH 85 and NH 183. If you are visiting Kerala for the first time, then you can even stop for sightseeing to make your journey more memorable.

Bangalore to Ooty
The route is full of breathtaking views of the Western and Eastern Ghats between Bengaluru and Ooty, and the distance is about 260 kilometres. There are three routes for setting out on a Bangalore to Ooty trip, and sometimes it can be difficult to choose. The Mysore to Masinagudi route is often considered to be the best one. Without making any pit stops, you can cover the distance in 6 to 7 hours, but to make more memories, there are some major tourist places you can visit such as Ramanagara Vulture Sanctuary, Thonnur Lake, Mysore Palace, and much more.

Leh to Tso Kar Lake
Famous as Ladakh's rare saltwater high-altitude lake, Tso Kar Lake's surface elevation is approximately 4,500 metres above sea level, and it is also an attraction point for many migratory birds. It takes around 6 to 7 hours, as the road conditions are much more difficult. Passing through high-altitude areas and rugged terrain, this journey makes for a fantastic experience for the rider. The distance between Leh and Tso Kar is approximately 153 km.

Chennai to Pondicherry via East Coast Road
With the salty sea breeze in your hair, pack those tasty snacks and get your bike gear ready to discover the Chennai–Puducherry road trip along the East Coast Road (ECR), which is about 160 kilometres. Throughout the journey, you will witness stunning sunsets, bustling fishing villages, and historic towns in a single adventure. You can reach Pondicherry in about 4 hours, but making pit stops can make your experience more enjoyable.
