With a population of only 1440 people, the destination offers a quiet atmosphere where English and the Khasi language are spoken. The village is situated about 60km from Shillong, making it a great spot for exploration. The place is believed to be overlooked by travellers.
How is Nongjrong different?
What truly sets the destination apart is its valley. The place transforms into a surreal sea of clouds that appears to float above the valley early in the morning. This stunning sight is often combined with a sunrise and creates an authentic experience.
