Yes, Indians can get a Dubai visa on arrival, but only if they meet specific conditions.- Since January 7, 2024: Indian nationals with a normal passport valid for at least six months can get a 14-day single-entry visa on arrival by paying around USD 63 (approx. INR 5,250).
- Since February 13, 2025: The policy expanded. Now, Indians holding valid residence permits from Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, Singapore, the US, UK, or EU are also eligible for a visa on arrival.

Extension: One-time extension for another 14 days at INR 5,826 (AED 250)
Validity of documents: Your passport, visa, or residence permit must be valid for at least 6 months.

To apply, you’ll need to submit the following:- Passport valid for at least six months (colour copy)
- Recent passport-size color photo
- Confirmed hotel booking in Dubai or tenancy contract if staying with family
- Confirmed return Emirates or codeshare flight ticket starting with code “EK”
- Proof of relationship (if visiting family) – birth certificate, marriage certificate, or family book

If you have a layover in Dubai, you can apply for a UAE transit visa:48-hour transit visa: Free of cost, arranged by UAE airlines. Not extendable.
96-hour transit visa: Costs AED 50 (approx. INR 1,155). Must be applied in advance.
