The new Kuwait e-Visa system is part of the country’s Vision 2035 plan to modernise its services. Launched by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior in July 2025, it allows travellers to apply for a visa entirely online.
Types Of Kuwait e-Visa
The Kuwait eVisa allows single entry to the holders and is valid for 1 month. Furthermore, the online visa lets travellers stay in Kuwait temporarily for 90 days or 3 months. Travellers can apply for the following Kuwait e-Visas:Tourist Visa – Valid for up to 90 days for holidays and sightseeing.
Family Visit Visa – Valid for 30 days if you’re visiting relatives in Kuwait.
Business Visa – Also for 30 days, for work trips, meetings, or exhibitions.
Official Visa – For government or diplomatic visits.

Visit the official Kuwait e-Visa portal (Ministry of Interior website).
Choose visa type – Tourist, Family, Business, or Official.

Citizens from over 50 countries across Europe, North America, Australia, Japan are eligible. Kuwait also offers visa exemption to citizens of several Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, allowing them to enter Kuwait without a visa. These GCC countries typically include:- Bahrain
