a flight attendant who has a significant experience in travelling around the world. Esther Sturrus, who works for Dutch airline KLM, shared that she swears by this hack. Picture this: There's a thief lurking beneath the bed of your hotel room and they're waiting to attack and rob you on gun point. You walk into the room in oblivion of this thief and as soon as you settle in your room, they attack you. The question is how can you prevent such a possibility? This is where the hack comes into play. When you throw a bottle of water under the bed, if there's a intruder lurking inside your hotel room, the thief or intruder would be taken by surprise. The latter may either let out some noise, or make some movement that will send you an alert. As per Esther, this hack lets you ‘check that no one is under the bed without looking’, easing your mind if you’re wary. Esther shared this hack on social media platform TikTok and she also advised that when one rolls the bottle under the bed, one should do in such a way that the bottle comes out on the other side.
