Piasecki Aircraft has announced the development of the Kargo II, an advanced variant of its Kargo logistics drone. The Kargo II features a quadcopter rotor system and offers double the payload capacity of its predecessor, capable of transporting up to 680kg. This development follows Piasecki's acquisition of the Kargo concept from Kaman, which initially targeted the US Marine Corps for autonomous resupply missions.
