Applied Digital Corporation has announced plans to construct a $3 billion data center campus, Polaris Forge 2, near Harwood, North Dakota. This development follows the company's previous project, Polaris Forge 1, in Ellendale, North Dakota. The new campus will initially consist of two facilities and is projected to create over 200 permanent jobs, along with long-term contractor opportunities. The site has secured more than 900 acres and a power supply agreement with Cass County Electric Cooperative. Applied Digital is also in advanced negotiations with a U.S.-based investment-grade hyperscaler for the campus.
