Aclara Resources has partnered with Virginia Tech to operate a rare earth separation pilot plant at the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center in Blacksburg. The facility will utilize Aclara's solvent extraction technology to produce high-purity light and heavy rare earth elements from Brazil-sourced feedstock. This initiative aims to establish a supply chain for critical rare earth elements outside of China, enhancing domestic access to these materials.
