Port Houston has partnered with Incat Crowther, an international digital shipbuilder, to design a new hybrid electric tour vessel for the Houston Ship Channel. The vessel, set to replace the aging M/V Sam Houston, will be constructed by Breaux Brothers in Louisiana. The 22-meter vessel will accommodate 150 passengers and operate in an all-electric mode during tours, featuring a bespoke shoreside charging system.
