Nobody has more right to be frustrated by the Atlanta Falcons' quarterback play in Weeks 1-2 than star wide receiver Drake London.
Over the last four years, London has been one of the league's most consistent and productive pass-catchers despite having to work with a rotating cast of mediocre quarterbacks. There's only so much that London can do, though - and his numbers have suffered thanks to the atrocious QB play.
Heading into Atlanta's third game of the season tonight, London has only been targeted 10 times, totaling six catches, 80 yards and zero touchdowns.
Good news: with Michael Penix Jr. returning to the lineup London's production should be getting a bump. Matt Okada at NFL.com has included London on his start' em list for Week 3 in fantasy
football.
"London should be too good for this column, but after consecutive single-digit fantasy outings, he's "earned" a mention here. This Thursday, Michael Penix Jr. is returning to Atlanta's starting lineup -- which should help London's prospects -- and Green Bay's defense has been beatable. Bounceback incoming.:
So far London's best year came in 2024 when he racked up 100 receptions, 1,271 yards and nine scores. He missed a large chunk of the 2025 season due to injury, but he still managed to put up 68 catches, 919 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
Aside from London, two other players should also be thrilled to see Penix back in the lineup. Tight end Kyle Pitts should see more targets and running back Bijan Robinson should also benefit as having a half-decent quarterback on the field should force defenses to play more honestly than Pittsburgh and Carolina were able to do.
