The Atlanta Falcons released offensive lineman Layden Robinson and punter Matthew Hayball from their 90-man training camp roster, the team announced before Monday's practice. Since Hayball was Atlanta's designated international player, he did not take up an active roster spot.
Robinson, 25, was drafted by the New England Patriots in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft and appeared in 13 games (11 starts) as a rookie. Robinson was waived/injured by New England early in the 2025 season and later spent time on the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad.
Hayball signed with the Falcons in free agency and suited up for the team's preseason opener. The former Saint punted the ball four times for 178 total yards (44.5 yards per attempt).
The Falcons have
one open roster spot available, so we wouldn't be surprised to see them to sign someone on Monday afternoon. Check out the team's updated 90-man roster below.
