The San Francisco 49ers have signed former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge to their practice squad, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter. Hodge spent the last four seasons in Atlanta, making a Pro Bowl in 2024 behind his special teams contributions.
The 31-year-old was released by the Falcons over the offseason and later signed with the 49ers as a free agent. Hodge did not make the 53-man roster out of training camp but returned to San Francisco on the practice squad.
The veteran wide receiver has appeared in three games for the 49ers this season, recording one reception for 18 receiving yards. Hodge could potentially rejoin San Francisco's active roster since he's already been elevated multiple times.
Over Hodge's four
seasons in Atlanta, he appeared in 63 games and recorded 37 catches for 596 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
