The Atlanta Falcons had a quiet week following their prime-time victory over the New Orleans Saints, but they will return to the national spotlight for a Sunday Night Football game against the Baltimore Ravens this weekend.
The Ravens are dealing with some key injuries, including star quarterback Lamar Jackson, new starting center Cam Jurgens and edge rusher Trey Hendrickson. All three losses will should give the Falcons a major advantage in Week 5.
Plus, the Falcons have been pretty darn good in prime time this season. Atlanta has won two straight games since Michael Penix Jr. entered the lineup in Week 3. Penix could be without his left tackle on Sunday, though, as Jake Matthews is officially questionable for Sunday's game.
In terms of roster
moves, the Falcons only made one notable change, and it was to their practice squad. The team released former Georgia running back Cash Jones and signed former Alabama RB Jam Miller earlier this week.
Miller was drafted by the Patriots in the seventh-round of the 2026 NFL Draft but did not make the roster out of training camp. Jones played well in the preseason but was unlikely to be called up from the practice squad anytime soon.
