The Atlanta Falcons have the day off but will return on Monday afternoon for their third round of training camp practices. With the team's first preseason game less than a week away, practice should only intensify over the next few days.
The Falcons recently made a few changes to their 90-man roster, releasing former second-round pick Troy Andersen and signing veteran wide receiver Kristian Wilkerson. Andersen's promising start to his NFL career was slowed by injuries and now he will have to look for another chance elsewhere.
The team also placed linebacker Jalon Walker on the injured reserve list and signed defensive back Keidron Smith to the roster in a corresponding move.
