The Atlanta Falcons have listed their inactives for Sunday's season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers. After speculation about Cooper Rush's reported back spasms on Saturday, the veteran quarterback is good to go and will officially start Week 1.
Veteran edge rusher Za'Darius Smith has also been cleared for Sunday's game after the team listed him as questionable on Friday's final injury report. Smith won't start but is expected to play a key role with both Jalon Walker and James Pearce Jr. out for the foreseeable future.
Quarterbacks Michael Penix Jr. and Tua Tagovailoa have both been ruled out for Week 1. Linebacker Christian Harris, cornerback Malcolm DeWalt IV, defensive back Billy Bowman Jr. and offensive lineman Ethan Onianwa have been ruled out as
well.
