The Atlanta Falcons might not have linebacker Divine Deablo available on Monday night, but the New Orleans Saints are dealing with a few linebacker injuries of their own entering Week 4. The Saints ruled Kaden Elliss out for Week 4 due to a calf injury.
Elliss, who spent the last three seasons as the Falcons' starting middle linebacker, signed a three-year, $33 million contract with New Orleans in free agency.
While his departure was a major gut punch for fans in Atlanta, Elliss was originally drafted by the Saints in the seventh-round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He spent his first four seasons in New Orleans.
It's unclear if the Falcons offered Elliss a similar deal in free agency, but defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich said it would take more than
one player to replace the linebacker's presence on Atlanta's defense.
Fortunately, the Falcons found two extremely talented linebackers on Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft. Fourth-round pick Kendal Daniels and sixth-rounder Harold Perkins Jr. have impressed through the first three weeks of the season.
Daniels won the starting job next to Deablo out of training and hasn't disappointed thus far. If Deablo can't play, Perkins will get the start against New Orleans.

The Saints also ruled out defensive end Carl Granderson and linebacker Anfernee Jennings. New Orleans listed linebacker Pete Werner as questionable after he missed all three days of practice
