The Atlanta Falcons have assembled a talented roster over the last five seasons. Former general manager Terry Fontenot drafted a handful of the team's core players, while current GM Ian Cunningham has done an excellent job of adding to this group.
Cunningham also helped the team get long-term extensions done with running back Bijan Robinson, wide receiver Drake London, tight end Kyle Pitts, guard Matthew Bergeron and defensive tackle Gervon Dexter. These core players will now be in Atlanta for the foreseeable future, but there are a few others the team should look to extend.
Safety Jessie Bates III and linebacker Divine Deablo currently top the team's list of free agents in 2027. Bates is more than deserving of an extension after three-plus years
of elite play in Atlanta's secondary. Deablo, despite some injury issues, has been spectacular at inside linebacker.
Other notable names include running back Brian Robinson Jr., defensive end Cameron Thomas and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Here's a look at the current Falcons players headed for NFL free agency once the season is over.
