The Atlanta Falcons made a few changes to their secondary over the offseason, drafting cornerback Avieon Terrell in the second round and trading for former Philadelphia Eagles safety Sydney Brown. Both defensive backs carved out roles on Atlanta's defense, which left a few others out of work.
One of those players was cornerback Cobee Bryant. The former undrafted free agent out of Kansas signed with the Falcons after the 2025 NFL Draft and made the 53-man roster out of training camp. Bryant showed some promise but dealt with your typical rookie growing pains last season.
While Bryant did not make Atlanta's 53-man roster to begin the 2026 NFL season, he has drawn some interest from a few other teams over the last few weeks. Bryant worked out for
the Miami Dolphins on Tuesday, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

Bryant, who made the Falcons as an UDFA last year, was a 3x First-Team All Big-12 performer at Kansas with two career pick-sixes. https://t.co/fZmnYhpiNl pic.twitter.com/hFEN9FYDj6
Last week, the Green Bay Packers worked out Bryant but did not offer him a contract. The San Francisco 49ers also recently hosted Bryant for a workout, so there's clearly some interest in the former Jayhawks ballhawk around the league.
Bryant recorded 13 interceptions over his four years at Kansas, including four picks during his senior season in 2025. We'll have to wait and see if Bryant lands a deal with the Dolphins.
If not, the Falcons still have a spot available on their practice squad entering NFL Week 6.
