The Atlanta Falcons are back in the spotlight for another prime-time matchup in Week 4, this time facing the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football. Tonight's game will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Saints' Domecoming.
It was just over 20 years ago when New Orleans returned home after Hurricane Katrina and defeated the Falcons in one of the most memorable wins in franchise history. The original game was played Sept. 25, 2006, so it has technically been 20 years and 10 days.
The Falcons are coming off of a 35-14 win over the Green Bay Packers, and since the game was played on Thursday Night Football, Atlanta had an extended break to get prepared for tonight's game. The Saints lost to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3 but defeated the Baltimore
Ravens in Week 2 and took the Detroit Lions to overtime in Week 1.
