The Atlanta Falcons released cornerback Darren Hall, according to a report from ESPN's Marc Raimondi. Hall was placed on the reserve/injured list by Atlanta ahead of the NFL's 53-man roster deadline, but he is now free to sign with any team.
The Falcons originally drafted Hall in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of San Diego State. After spending his first two seasons in Atlanta, Hall signed with the Indianapolis Colts' practice squad in 2023 but didn't appear in any games.
Hall signed with the Arizona Cardinals in 2024 and was able to carve out a role over the last two seasons. The veteran cornerback has recorded 94 tackles (59 solo), six passes defended and one sack in 48 career games (12 starts).

The Falcons will face the Steelers on the road in Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season. Atlanta named Tua Tagovailoa the starting quarterback for Sunday's season opener. The game kicks off at 1 p.m. ET.
