The Atlanta Falcons made a few roster moves that got lost in the shuffle on Wednesday due to the team's ongoing quarterback controversy/competition/riddle. As expected, the Falcons placed defensive tackle Da'Shawn Hand on the injured reserve list with a torn quad.
The team signed tight end Nick Muse off of the practice squad in a corresponding move. Atlanta also filled its final two practice squad spots, signing defensive end Drake Jackson and running back Khalil Herbert. According to our calculations, the team still has one roster spot available.
The Falcons placed offensive tackle Cameron Williams on the injured reserve list before their Week 1 game in Pittsburgh, so look for the team to add somebody else to the roster before Week 2.
