The Atlanta Falcons signed veteran tight end Nick Muse to their 90-man roster on Tuesday morning. The team also placed UDFA wide receiver Le'Meke Brockington and linebacker Malik Verdon on the waived/injured list in corresponding moves.
Muse was drafted in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings. The 27-year-old spent his first three seasons in Minnesota but appeared in just 16 total games and recorded one career catch for 22 yards. Last season, Muse bounced around a bit.
He spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles, Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams and New York Jets. Muse was signed by the Detroit Lions earlier in the offseason but was released by the team last week.
The Falcons also signed veteran running back Trey Sermon
and former Bengals defensive end Cameron Sample on Monday. Check out the team's updated 90-man roster below.
