Just one game into the 2026 season, the Atlanta Falcons already look like a hot mess. Their quarterback situation is as bad as it gets in the NFL, their new offensive coordinator had a rough debut and their vaunted and experienced offensive line totally flopped.
At least the Falcons have one good thing going for them, offensively. Running back Bijan Robinson continues to prove he was well worth the top-10 pick the team invested in him a few years ago. If not for Robinson's efforts, the Falcons very well could have been completely shut out in Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Robinson posted 173 yards from scrimmage, including 83 on the ground. Along the way he passed Falcons great Devonta Freeman on the team's all-time rushing leader
list - now ranking sixth in franchise history.

There's a big gap between Robinsonand the next guy on the list, Jamal Anderson - who totaled 5,336 rushing yards in 88 career games with the Falcons between 1994-2001. Another 1,400+ yard season this year would just boost Bijan past him and into the top five, though.
From there, it's Warrick Dunn (5,981), William Andrews (5,987), Michael Turner (6,081) and Gerald Riggs (6,631) at the top. At this rate, it's conceivable that Robinson could surpass all of them by the end of the 2027 season.
