The Atlanta Falcons filled their final practice squad opening on Wednesday, signing linebacker Jared Ivey just two days after releasing him from the 53-man roster. Ivey, a Georgia native who played his college ball at Georgia Tech and Mississippi, went undrafted in 2025 before signing with the Seattle Seahawks.
The 24-year-old appeared in just two games as a rookie. The Seahawks waived Ivey at the 2026 roster deadline and the Falcons claimed him off waivers. Ivey appeared in seven games for Atlanta this season, recording eight tackles (four solo), one sack and two QB hits.
Since the Falcons still had a practice squad spot available, no corresponding move was needed. The team also brought back defensive end Drake Jackson on the practice squad after
releasing him earlier in the week.
Atlanta just got edge rusher James Pearce Jr. back from suspension, and the team still has two other roster spots available so expect more moves in the coming days.
For now, check out the Falcons' updated 53-man roster and practice squad ahead of Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
