After two incredible wins in Weeks 3 and 4, the Atlanta Falcons came crashing back to earth in their overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football.
Not only did quarterback Michael Penix Jr. suffer a rib injury in the fourth quarter, but the defense came up short against an undermanned Ravens team. With that said, things really aren't as bad as they seem.
Penix is expected to be back in time for Week 6. Plus, Atlanta's defense played well for the majority of Sunday's loss. Overall, there was still a lot to like about the team's performance in Week 5.
Pro Football Focus released the grades from Sunday's Falcons-Ravens matchup and there were a few key standouts. Falcons safety Sydney Brown led the team with a grade of 86.9 in Week
5. Offensively, Drake London was the team's highest-rated player with a grade of 83.5.
Rookie wide receiver Zachariah Branch finished with the second-highest grade on Atlanta's offense, earning an 83.1 rating for his performance on Sunday. Branch had two catches for 15 receiving yards, along with one kick return for 27 yards.
