The Atlanta Falcons improved to 2-2 on the season following their 45-24 victory over the New Orleans Saints. Everything went right for the Falcons on Monday night as they dominated on offense, defense and special teams.
It was the kind of effort that coaches dream about, and Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski was feeling good about his team after its second straight win in prime time.
"I think all these games are challenges in tough environments on the road, great defenses across the other side," said Stefanski. "We're excited about this one, we'll learn from this one and then we'll get to the next one."
Stefanski was also impressed with Michael Penix Jr.'s play on Monday night. Penix finished 15/20 for 223 yards, one touchdown and a 127.7 passer
rating.
"I thought Mike played well. He took care of the football, made some really good throws. I thought the throw late in the game to get the ball to Drake was an excellent play. I really like Mike - his demeanor on game day. I like how he's operating. He's doing a nice job."

In Week 5, the Falcons will be back in the spotlight for a "Sunday Night Football" showdown against the Baltimore Ravens. It will be Atlanta's third-straight prime-time game. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is battling an ankle injury and is reportedly day-to-day.
