The Atlanta Falcons (0-2) will make their prime-time debut this Thursday night when they face the Green Bay Packers (1-1) on the road at Lambeau Field. Neither team has been overly impressive coming into Week 3.
The Falcons are coming off of an embarrassing 34-3 loss to the Carolina Panthers in which they committed four turnovers and another pick-six. Meanwhile, the Packers needed overtime to defeat New York Jets in Week 2.
Green Bay is rightfully favored at home, but Atlanta will at least have starting quarterback Michael Penix Jr. back in the lineup. After sitting out for the first two games of the season, Penix will officially make his 2026 debut in Green Bay.

Falcons elevate EDGE Bralen Trice from practice squad
The Falcons have elevated edge rusher Bralen Trice from the practice squad for Week 3. The former Washington Huskies standout made his NFL debut in Week 1, and now returns for his second practice squad elevation of the season. Trice was selected by the Falcons in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft, two rounds after college teammate Michael Penix Jr.
