Anytime ESPN College GameDay comes to South Bend, you always wonder which Notre Dame celebrity it will choose as its guest picker, and on Thursday they announced who it will be.
They chose actor Jason Sudeikis, the star of the hit show Ted Lasso, who has also been a member of Saturday Night Live and multiple hit movies. While the actor did not attend Notre Dame, both his father and grandfather are graduates along with his uncle George Wendt who was a student but left before graduating to pursue a career in comedy.
While he wouldn’t have been who I would have picked, the fact that he’ll bring a comedic element to the set will be fantastic. The question now is, how much college football does Sudeikis consume and will be make some good picks on Saturday
morning?
Regardless it will be a crazy atmosphere, one as the Irish will be taking on the No. 1 team in the country, the Miami Hurricanes.
Thrilled to announce Jason Sudeikis as this week’s @CollegeGameDay guest picker
