The college football season will get underway this weekend, as it’s Week 0 and many are wondering if Notre Dame will start its path to the College Football Playoff.
Unfortunately for all of us, the Fighting Irish don't take the field until the official start of the year in Week 1. Notre Dame will “host” the Wisconsin Badgers at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis. at 7:30 pm on Sept. 6. It’s the home of the NFL's Green Bay Packers, but Notre Dame will be the home team due to this being the Shamrock Series game.
Irish personnel have a chip on their shoulder, as the team sets out to prove that last year's playoff snub wasn't deserved. Notre Dame is also expected to compete for a national title.
