What is the story about?

Former Notre Dame safety and cornerback Nick McCloud was quite the NFL success story, going undrafted but being able to stay in the league now for five years.

The extension of that time will now continue as the Miami Dolphins announced it has signed the 28-year old defender on Monday. McCloud has bounced around different organization's since entering the NFL, starting with the Buffalo Bills as a member of their practice squad in 2021 before making the active roster with the New York Giants.

He’d stay there for three seasons, before being traded to the San Francisco Giants. McCloud played last year with the Chicago Bears, but now has a new home. Hopefully this is one where he can stay at for the foreseeable future, as he’s more than talented enough

to make an impact.
