No. 3 Notre Dame didn't get a touchdown pass from quarterback CJ Carr, but the Fighting Irish did get a rushing TD from Carr against the Michigan State Spartans.
The 3-yard touchdown run capped off a 4-play, 68-yard drive that took 2:13 and sealed the 27-10 victory.
It's the first time in Carr's career that he hasn't passed for a touchdown, but it doesn't matter -- Carr still passed the ball well overall, the running game improved as the game wore on, and the defense was stifling.
That all led to Notre Dame moving to 3-0.
27-10 Irish. Not a great performance, but its enough. https://t.co/4NA4f4BG1Y pic.twitter.com/whIH8NAE4r
