Notre Dame jumped one spot in the Associated Press Top 25 poll after beating Stanford 58-7 on Saturday.
The Fighting Irish are now behind only Georgia. The rest of the top five consists of Miami (FL), Ohio State and Indiana.
Big movers included Oregon, who fell out of the poll entirely after losing to UCLA, and Texas, which dropped six spots after losing to Oklahoma. LSU
fell 12 places after losing to Kentucky.UCLA ended up moving up nine places, while Kentucky rose 11. Northwestern is now in the poll.
The remaining top 10 includes Alabama, Texas, BYU, Ole Miss and Texas Tech.
