US LBM Coaches Poll No. 6 Notre Dame will face its ultimate challenge this weekend when it goes up against top-ranked Miami.
Fox Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt knows how big that 35-13 Fighting Irish win against Navy was and how much of a bigger test the Hurricanes will be on Saturday.
On Monday’s “The Joel Klatt Show,” Klatt has Notre Dame at No. 4 in his top-10 after Week 9.
Klatt noted that “we’ll see exactly what Notre Dame is this week” once it faces Miami, who is at the top of Klatt’s list.
Miami, Georgia, Indiana, UCLA, Utah, Texas, Kentucky, Ohio State and Alabama round out Klatt’s top-10.
Klatt also noted that while Georgia has the top defense in the country, Notre Dame’s defense will be battle-tested against Miami’s top-ranked
offense.
“(The Hurricanes) do have the best thing anybody does, which is play offense with Darian Mensah and Malachi Toney,” Klatt added.
