Notre Dame hasn't moved in this week's Associated Press Top 25 poll.
This despite taking care of business with a 49-10 win over in-state rival Purdue. Perhaps this is because Notre Dame was expected to dispatch the Boilermakers with ease, or perhaps it's a downstream effect of other teams' movements in the poll.
Either way, the Fighting Irish stay at No. 3
Florida was the big mover, jumping 13 spots to No. 8 after beating Ole Miss. The Rebels fell five spots to No. 9.
UCLA jumps into the top 25, landing at No. 23, while Oregon moved up five spots to No. 15 after beating USC. The Trojans fell six spots to No. 18. Mississippi State had an eight-spot jump to No. 16, while Oklahoma State jumps 11 spots to No. 19.
Texas remains No. 1 after hanging on
against Tennessee, which fell three spots to No. 17.
The top five is Texas, Georgia, Notre Dame, Miami (FL) and Ohio State. Indiana, Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss and BYU round out the top 10.
