With so much more data available in this era of college football, it’s easy to put it all together and see what the computers project with Notre Dame looking very comfortable facing BYU on the road this weekend.
The Irish and Cougars both have yet to suffer a loss, as one team’s fate will change, and according to Parker Fleming, the visitors should have a very enjoyable trip. According to his data, Notre Dame has a win probability of 81.3% and is projected to score 31.4 points. As for BYU, the don’t have as favorable projection, with just 17.9 expected points.
While this is a fantastic projection for the Irish, they still have to go out on the field and do it. There’s a reason why the games are played, and the outcome can drastically change once
Notre Dame and BYU start their battle.
Hopefully, Fleming’s data is correct, and the Irish return back to South Bend with another victory and their unbeaten season still intact.
